What a home visit looks like

I always ask that before I arrive, bub is undressed, nappy on, wrapped and given a top up feed, even if they are not due. This helps the session run smoothly and assures that bub is more settled.

However, if bub is not happy I always suggest stopping, giving cuddles and an extra feed where needed. A pacifier is also helpful.

If possible I will use a double bed and a newborn posing bag. Safe handling & experienced wrapping skills are practiced at all times so you know your baby is safe and comfortable.

I often scout out an area of the home with lots of natural light and also a blank wall.

I supply a range of props that are thoroughly sanitised.

It is nice to include any sentimental items of your own. For example: blankets, wraps, bears, hats, headbands etc

As I am an experienced mum of four, I can relate to what you are going through. I am not only here to capture images of your baby but to cater to the needs of you and your family.

I am used to walking into "well lived in homes" so don't stress if things are a little messy.....
